Everything on this plate came from the CSA.

That's a zucchini omelet, onion chutney, and roast potatoes. I didn't cook the chutney - we get a jar each week and last week's jar was onion chutney. I save many jars in the pantry, so I can enjoy James through the winter. But from past experience, I learned that I like onion chutney best when it doesn't sit around too long.

I ate the cherries plain. So sweet.

I used peas, shallots, basil, and eggs from the farm in shrimp-fried rice. We've been getting a lot of basil, but it's versatile.

Of course, I'm still having lots of salad. I roasted the beets to include in salad. I tried making a kale slaw, but it has no resemblance to coleslaw. It was OK by itself, but best in a chicken wrap or mixed in with a more typical salad.

We got a squash that I wasn't expecting to see until fall. Are the plants confused?

I also included shallots and basil in this soup.
