It's great to have a stylist who understands what looks good on you. I've followed my stylist to different salons.

Alas! My favourite stylist quit the salon to become an onion farmer. :P

I've had the same stylist for probably 20 years... and now he's past retirement age but still working .... and it's starting to show on my haircutting. Been having trouble getting him to cut the back of my hair the way I want it, and been so unhappy with the results that I've had to try and take scissors to it myself. This makes me so sad. I don't *want* to change stylists. I'm going to give him a couple more chances and hope he just wasn't understanding what I want (plus, last time it really came to a head, he had customers backed up so I didn't have time to really look at the back until I got home). Anyway, just blah. Hoping the next cut will be what I want and we'll see from there. Will make a point of explaining further this time. But yeah, so hard to change stylists! He's always been great before this, but I'm wanting to change my cut a tad and he's not getting it.
