First tomatoes in my CSA basket!

Last week I didn't cook enough. So, after getting this week's basket, my fridge is totally full! I will freeze more zucchini, so I can transfer some stuff to the freezer... And keep more summer goodness for autumn.

This week's basket included: basil, beans, cauliflower, carrots, corn, cucumber, radishes, zucchini, okra, tomatoes (grape and plum), kale, potatoes (red and white), plums (yellow and red), wild blueberries, and a jar of raspberry jam.

I saw a recipe for corn and okra that I'll try. Cucumber, tomato, and radish salad might be in order. Maybe potato salad, too. I need to clear some space before I make cobbler. Although the blueberries are calling me to bake with them.

Are you having trouble using up all the week's produce before the new week's basket arrives? I don't think we could do what you're doing: we just don't eat that much as a household (only two of us).

There are only 2 of us, and the CSA basket has much more veggies than was expected! That's why the fridge is so full...

I won't make cobbler, as I've been eating the blueberries in yogurt, cereal, and topping waffles.

I made a great battered zucchini with garlic cloves last night using tiny new zucchinis. I find they freeze better if you prepare them first.

My problem is that I don't have time to prepared them. I'm slicing them and freezing in one flat layer.
