Everything I cook is gluten-free, but I'm now trying recipes from Betty Crocker Gluten Free Recipe Collection. No link to Amazon, as this is a magazine.
I bought this issue, because I liked how easy it seemed to make desserts using Betty Crocker gluten-free mixes. I wasn't able to find gluten-free Bisquik, and then found out that the product isn't sold in Canada! I didn't try anything from this magazine.
Not all recipes rely on Bisquik, so I'm finally trying it out. The first 5 recipes will be:
* Cinnamon scones
* Blueberry-corn muffins
* Basil salmon and julienne vegetables
* Red pepper and broccoli risotto
* Cornbread
I already baked the blueberry-corn muffins.
The recipe called for a box of Betty Crocker gluten-free mix. I haven't seen that mix around, so I used another brand of gluten-free cake mix.
If you know a substitute for Bisquik, let me know.
