Italian sandwiches and icecream sandwiches


After A Taste of France, I really enjoyed how quick and easy it was to prepare my first recipe from Venezia: food & dreams. Italian sandwiches are on sliced white bread, cut into triangles with the crust removed. The recipe suggests various filling combinations.

Here you can see one sandwich filled with ham and artichoke hearts, and the other with tuna and sliced egg. I also tried artichoke hearts, sliced egg, and black pepper. Interesting combinations, but I prefer my bread toasted.

 

Gluten-Free Quick and Easy has an amazingly easy recipe for icecream sandwiches. It uses store-bought cookies and icecream.
