I cooked only five recipes from A Taste of France, but I'm not bothering to try another five.

 

I'm keeping two recipes. The scallops were delicious and quick to prepare. The beef casserole took a long time, but could be unattended most of the time.

 

Most recipes were time-consuming. The final straw for me was the rattatouille. It took over 2 hours, and the results were mediocre. The recipe, like many others, lacked key details, and I'm not sure I prepared it correctly.

 

And besides, I need room for two new cookbooks I picked up. ;-)
