Chicken with figs from the French cookbook is tasty and unusual. But this cookbook lies about prep time. 5 minutes? I took over 30 minutes, and I took the shortcut of buying meat already off the bone.

that would annoy me, too
That's a big difference in prep time! I'd find it really annoying to have it off by that much. April

Part of the problem is that the prep time estimate only counts prep that is part of the recipe steps. Prep needed to get the food to the state indicated in the ingredients list doesn't count.

But it's still really annoying.
