The mixed Chinese vegetables from the international cookbook include a good variety of vegetables. The tasted ok, but I suspect that doubling the sauce would make it better.
The sauce is a mix of 2 tablespoons water, 2 teaspoons oyster sauce (which I didn't have, so substituted 1 teaspoon each of soy sauce and worcestershire sauce), 1 teaspoon dry sherry, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon cornstart; 1/4 teaspoon salt.
As you can see.... not much sauce for a huge amount of veggies.
I agree, but didn't have oyster sauce on hand. Worcestershire sauce contains anchovies, which helps add a bit of fishy flavor. That's why I substituted with a mix of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.

I bet the oyster sauce would have been yummy, too, don't you?
