Carrot soup is thick, filling, and makes lots of left-overs. It's great on a cold day.
Green beans with sesame and miso was tasty and easy to prepare. Except for chopping the sesame seeds. I don't have a mortar and pestle, so I used the blender. I'm not sure the seeds were at the right consistency.
Tuna steak with wine and bacon was OK, but not amazing. I'm not sure that I had the right type of bacon... but the recipe just calls for "bacon." Don't the authors realize how many types of bacon there are?
