Venezia: food & dreams has an amazing recipe for meatballs. I don't know if the awesome flavor is due to combining meats (recipe called for pork and veal, but I used pork and turkey) or the seasonings.
About the math... The recipe said that it made 25 meatballs, but I ended up with 16. Perhaps my meatballs were larger than the author intended? The real curiosity is that the recipe calls for putting 3 meatballs on each plate of spaghetti, but makes 4 servings.
Left-over yummy meatballs is better than not enough! I served the extras over rice. What would you do with them?
