Must resist tempations to endlessly rewrite

I just finished Mme Proust and the Kosher Kitchen, which was wonderfully full of Paris, Canada, writing, and food. It was sometimes funny, sometimes touching. The resonances among the disparate threads build but never overwhelm.

Of course, I got to thinking that I could completely rewrite Mysterious Paris, yet again. But I will resist the temptation at this point, because I want to make progress on completing this novel.
