Once again, as I gear up for a month of serious writing (and thise year, serious editing), unexpected social events start popping up.

People get married in October, but decide to celebrate in November.

Family gets together for birthdays during the month.

A friend, who I see very rarely, decides to spend a weekend near Toronto.

Oh, yeah, and did I mention that I'm taking a Japanese class that doesn't end until November 30? What was I thinking?!?

Luckily, everyone at work has started asking again about my novel, even without seeing another Nanowrimo poster. This, and the emotional weight of November, will help keep me going to finally complete my edits of Mysterious Paris.

The November Conspiracy
I hear you... work has been deaddeaddead for about four months. Yesterday was the first I'd worked OT in ages, for a project that should be going for (you guessed it!) most of November.

I'm NaNoing anyway!
