When I was looking up recipes, they were all from the UK. So, I'm wondering whether marrow has a different name in the US or isn't grown much. It's a type of summer squash.

I stuffed it with homemade bolognese, which was a chance to use more farm veggies: carrot and onion.  I froze the scooped out part of the marrow. Slowly, I'm building a stock of frozen veggies to enjoy during the winter.

Last week's potatoes came in three different colors. The red and white potatoes are both white inside, but I was surprised to see that the blue potatoes are blue all the way through.

Sometimes I like to cook with many tastes of summer.

This chicken sautee includes zucchini, tomato, corn, parsley, and garlic.

Last week, we got a delicious bounty of fruit in our CSA basket.

Peaches, plums, and apricots.

We get eggs from the farm, and last week I baked custard.

We're not getting lettuce any more, so I used kale and radish leaves as the base for this salad.

Love marrow! I see it a lot at farmers markets. I think of it as the mellower zucchini. :)
