This week's CSA basket included another butternut squash. It also included tomatoes, garlic, Yukon potatoes, red onions, coloured bell peppers, eggplant, carrots, Swiss chard, green beans, beets, assorted apples, pears, and a jar of pickled hot cherry peppers.

I still had my previous two butternut squash, so I made butternut squash purée for Thanksgiving.

The recipe called for baking the squash and apples, and then mashing them. There wasn't much apple relative to the squash, so it wasn't the noticeable.

I used some of the peppers in a stir fry with chicken and green onions. My fridge is still very full of vegetables.
