Squashed by my CSA basket

This week's CSA basket includes both sweet mama squash and acorn squash. As I haven't yet cooked last week's squash, my counter is filling up.

Other items I this week's basket include: corn, heirloom tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, radishes, purple plums, macintosh apples, and a jar of hot sauce.

Although I love squash, I don't feel inspired by most of the recipes I find. What's your favourite way to cook squash?

I like to just cut it in half, brush it with butter and honey and bake it until you can pierce it with a fork (30-60 minutes depending on the squash).

That sounds pretty good. Today I used maple syrup and cinnamon.

That would be nice too! I'll use that in my mashed sweet potatoes - so tasty!
