What's in this week's CSA basket?

It's Saturday, and that means another CSA basket from Front Step Farms. This week, my basket contained:
* beets (in two colours)
* potatoes (red and white)
* carrots (three colours!)
* snow peas and regular peas (in the pod)
* lettuce (two varieties)
* garlic
* zucchini
* radishes
* cabbage
* leeks
* strawberries
* rhubarb
* peach jam

This seems like more veggies than the previous weeks.

My snow peas went from the ground to my plate in less than 12 hours. For dinner tonight, I made a stir fry with scallops, asparagus, and garlic scapes. Glad that I finished the asparagus from last week. The garlic scapes are from the first week. For dessert, I enjoyed strawberries and yogurt. The strawberries smelled so good, so fresh.

I started to plan the menu for this week. I'll try three recipes from Finally.... Food I Can Eat: leek and potato soup, cabbage salad (aka cole slaw), and shepherd's pie. For the shepherd's pie, I'm blending the vegetarian and beef versions. Of course, there will be another strawberry rhubarb cobbler. And lots of salad.
