Cooking rice and risotto


Next up in my cookbook journey Rice and Risotto: Cooking with the world's best-loved grain. This link goes to the edition that I'm using, but I see that a new version is coming out later this month.

 

This book seems perfect for my journey, as it is organized into 10 countries and regiions. I'll try a recipe from each section.

 

The first five recipes will be:
* Indian rice with tomatoes and spinach
* Asia - rice omelette
* Greece, Turkey and the Middle East - alma - ata
* Portuguese rice pudding
* Italy - mushroom risotto

 

This book is filled with pictures that make every dish so tempting.
