Shrimp risotto takes a long time to cook

This shrimp risotto recipe from Apples for Jam started with me making a shrimp tomato broth. Risotto is always a bit time-consuming. However, the extra steps in this recipe are worthwhile.

Not sure why my app insists on turning this picture sideways.
