You say potato

I'm glad that I had left-over meat. The French potato-onion dish from the international cookbook required lots of slicing, and I had to keep stirring the potatoes to keep them cooking instead of burning. Tasted good.

In other news... remember all the problems that I had baking bread? I ended up getting rid of a couple of bread machine cookbooks, because the bread didn't seem to turn out. I attributed the problem to trying to adapt a recipe to use a gluten-free mix as the base. However, since then, I had problems using the mix even without modifications.

It seems that my bread machine has given up the ghost. :-( It served me well for over 10 years, so I can't complain too much.
