keeping cool

The "sorbet caribe" from the Moosewood cookbook is more like soft ice cream (although dairy free). It was really easy to make - although required a bit of planning to have frozen pineapple juice and frozen sliced banana. Quite tasty and really refreshing on a hot summer day.

The lemon sour cream rolls from More Bread Machine Magic turned out pretty good, but I was nervous when making them. I'm using gluten free bread mix and the quantity of liquid that the mix specifies. The dough was really wet when I had to separate it into roll-sized portions. But there was no need to panic - it baked to the right consistency.
