Garlic mushrooms

With the juice and grated rind from half a lemon, it turns out that "garlic mushrooms" are really lemon-garlic mushrooms. I thought they were pretty good, but I think they'll be fabulous after marinating! I saved a few and will let you know.

I picked up some xanthum gum recently, so I'll be able to bake gluten-free breads not from a mix. I worried when I checked the recipes, because half called for xanthum gum and half for guar gum. According to this site, they work the same and are used in the same quantity. It might make a small difference in flavor, but I'm happy to stick with the one ingredient. First, however, I'll have to pick up more types of flour.... I just have rice flour and corn meal. Unfortunately, I'm out of gluten-free bread machine mix, so I can't yet make the ham and pineapple bread.
