Back on track

Although I missed two days revising Mysterious Paris, I have now caught up to where I should be.

I just finished revising a pivotal scene, and I think it's much better for having made two separate passes on separate days. The first day I mostly added sensory detail, to give it a sense of place. When I first wrote the scene, I was too emotionally charged to write more than dialogue, necessary action, and a minimum of anything else. But then when preparing to sleep, I realized that the dialogue needed fixing. Manon needed to be unsuspecting and thinking she's meeting her goals, until things start to fall apart. Bwa ha ha, I'm so cruel.
