Waiting another day to submit

Turned out that my husband was my toughest critic of "Blonde Bimbos on the Moon". But, oh, so accurate. I think I've fixed the problems, want to wait one more day before I give a final review and then submit.

I'm convinced that I'll have to show him everything before I send it out. The folks in my writing group give some good suggestions, but I think they're too easy on me.

You're lucky. Most spouses of writers refuse to read anything, ever.

I feel very lucky... I've also heard that most spouses (and other family members) won't give more than the mildest criticism.

I think my husband was a little nervous about giving his opinion - but I told him that he didn't have to like the story, just tell me what parts he didn't like and why.

It just struck me...
...that the title of this reminds me of something by David Clink:

'The Surly Blondes of Earth'

Seen it before?
